In the mines of my mind, I find myself in this garden. These layered collages are a result of quiet studies of my psyche, mapping subtle emotions or thoughts with raw visuals of screenshots from digital experience to sensuous moments with flowers, or watching light glisten on water.
The mind is but a garden, filled with growing, evolving things that ask us to pause & observe with clarity. I am always thinking of Monet, in his process of painting in his garden, his pond of lilies, over and over. The repetition sings of the cyclical nature of all things — impermanence, beauty, birth, death, & always becoming something new.
