Jess Parsons is a NYC-based stylist and curator of neo-ethereal art x fashion, and founder, creative director, and co-owner of Venus in Tokyo, a boutique featuring 40+ independent artists and designers based in NYC, Tokyo, Paris, London, and beyond.
Jess has always been a collector: of books, jewelry, art, accessories, random 2000s trinkets, dolls, etc. Her bedroom always told this intimate story of an artist studying beautiful objects, like a bubblegum pearl pink gallery: she has been curating a collection of her own handmade and vintage jewelry, clothing, and art that bring you into this soft, precious, feminine dreamworld.
Now, Venus in Tokyo is a boutique that feels more like a fashion gallery, holding bespoke, handmade treasures from around the world like a jewelry box nestled in NYC.
Venus in Tokyo, as a concept, was born in 2023 — the year Jess hosted and curated her first art x fashion pop-up in New York. In 2025, Venus in Tokyo was birthed as a physical space in Brooklyn, New York.
